AMI Conference & Expo for marina managers opens 2023 event registration, will hold pre-conference for Certified Marina Managers

The upcoming in-person 2023 AMI Conference & Expo is big news in itself. The more pronounced headline for Certified Marina Managers is that the Association of Marina Industries has renewed a partnership with the University of Wisconsin College of Engineering to hold an 8-hour educational pre-conference course. What’s the big deal?

Oh, just that Certified Marina Managers can get their annual CEUs logged in a single weekend.

The course will be called The Docks & Marinas Course and according to the AMI release, will be an intensive session on “the technical topics of design and engineering in the marina space”.

The conference will also hold two other pre-conference workshops, including Marina 101 for entry-level marina managers who wish to build their knowledge of the fundamentals, and a leadership workshop that will explore coaching and team building. 

To assuage any confusion for previous attendees, yes, the IMBC conference and AMI conference are one and the same. AMI has hosted the conference since its inception and has streamlined the conference title to align with its organizational name.

Location: The Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, Florida

Date: January 30 – February 1, 2023

Unlimited access passes: Start at $399. One-day and exhibit hall passes are also available. AMI members receive a discount, and pre-registration rates are available until Friday, January 30th.
